June 2026 Platform Updates

It's been a busy few months at cloudnumbering HQ as the weather has started to warm up. Powered by sunshine and ice lollies, here's what we've shipped…
Platform Updates June
Ledger Database Improvements
As always, we're committed to building you a better product with value and transparency at the core. Our ledger database improvements were rolled out throughout May, and mean clearer, higher value reporting, and are a foundation for new dashboard features.
Porting Automation
As previously announced, porting OUT is now fully live — you can request a PAC via the portal. You will soon be able to request to port IN numbers too via the API.
We're rolling this out to customers with the largest porting needs first, prior to full launch. If you've got bulk ports you've been putting off now is the perfect time to reach out to us — we can get you set up in no time.
Global Numbers
Australia and Austria are first on our list for all your international virtual mobile number needs — now live! Let us know what countries you'd like to see next? Reach out to sales@cloudnumbering.com
Number Selection
We're extremely excited about this one — virtual number selection is now available for all customers — meaning you can select individual numbers for a small fee. Now live via API.
And coming later this month, we're launching our VIP Numbers. These premium but fairly priced numbers allow you to pick something more memorable, or a number that is similar to one you already use. They also make a great alternative to shortcodes.
International SMS Rates
To continuously improve our SMS experience, we have moved international SMS traffic directly to VodafoneThree. This exciting upgrade provides you with more robust, direct routing.
As part of this enhancement, our international SMS rate card has been updated and rolled out to all clients — now active under your rate cards. We recommend downloading the latest version to ensure you have the most up-to-date pricing.
If you have any questions please reach out so our team can assist you immediately.
And a reminder…
Required Voice Endpoints
OTT services are more frequently using automated voice calls as a primary or fallback method for verifying phone numbers during setup. This is an anti-spam measure designed to verify active, real-time connectivity to a device.
Therefore we're reminding all clients of the need to set up a voice endpoint with our numbers to avoid failed OTPs. This means you need to have an active voice line to receive and answer the call.
