In our latest Meet the Team blog post, we’ll dive into Reece’s journey, from his early days in manufacturing to his time as a soccer coach (not a mistake, it was in America), and explore what drives him to succeed. We grabbed a brew – coffee of course – and caught up with Reece, to find out more about his diverse career background, experience in sales, and how his energy, passion, and telecoms knowledge has helped shape cloudnumbering over the past year or so.

A Day in the Life of Reece

‍

Reece’s days are a whirlwind of platform updates, customer queries and calls, and meetings — since joining us, he’s been more than just our sales coordinator, he’s been with our customers at every point of their virtual number journey. You’ll mostly find him glued to HubSpot, managing new sales and current customer queries with a friendly precision.

But let’s rewind a bit. Reece’s journey to cloudnumbering has been as dynamic as his daily routine.

You Say Soccer, I Say Football

‍

With over 12 years in sales, each of Reece’s roles has taught him something unique—skills and experiences he’s used to make the role at cloudnumbering his own.

‍

In the manufacturing sector, he learned to navigate the complexity of managing hundreds of customers and building strong relationships with each.

‍

Next, Reece worked as Head Coach and Camp Leader for Challenger Sports in the US. No stranger to juggling roles and large groups, he oversaw young athletes, planned and delivered training sessions, and ensured a safe and inspiring environment. Reece shared:

“My previous roles have shown me that I thrive when faced with complex challenges. Whether it’s being the underdog in sports or navigating the hurdles of helping to run a startup, these situations only motivate me to grow, and to work harder and smarter.”

And that mindset? It’s what makes him such a valuable part of our team.

When he’s not working, he is of course a keen footballer, playing these days, not coaching. Equally high energy, you might find him at a music festival and when that energy finally runs out you’ll find him swapping HubSpot for his Xbox.

As the product and team grow, Reece is most excited about continuing to put his customers first, onboarding new ones, and cementing cloudnumbering’s place in the telecoms industry.
